My friend, Laura over at Elephant Juice did a post
on her "favorite" things. I thought that sounded
like a lot of fun and I decided to join in! I hope that
you do too.
This is my popcorn popper. Yes, it's old and I boughtit at an auction. Makes the best kettle corn
and I've recently decided to experiment with it...a tablespoon
of kosher salt makes some awesome popcorn too! My youngest
doesn't like kettle corn. So I always seem to make
2 batches anymore-we love popcorn in our family
and I make some about every night.
This white shelf is nothing fancy, I bought it atthe Goodwill store for $2 and painted it white
roughed it up with some sandpaper and its a great
shelf for my cookbooks(another favorite) and my
crock bowls(another favorite) and of course
some plants and my scentsy warmer on top!
This is one of my favorite devotional books I have-there is rarely a day that I read it that it doesn't really"hit home" and give me just the right word for the dayor the situation at hand. God's word is great like that~alwayswhat you need, when you need it!
Ok...this picture is not of a wooden blockwith a fuzzy sock on it. Your eyes must be playingtricks on you! I do love these slipper socks in the winter! As you can see, I have tile floors(another favorite) but theyare a bit chilly! They are not an attractive, slimming sockbut they do serve the purpose.
This of course is our FavORiTe college team! GO CATS!But...this is actually a Snuggie, yes, I said a Snuggie. NO, I didnot buy this for myself or my hubby, it was a Christmas Gift from my bro-in-law and I have made great fun of thesedarn things...and now not only do I have my own, but...I really like it! LOL It's pretty darn warm and I can get prettycomfy in it on the couch in the supine position!
This picture doesn't do this little bag any justice.
I am a self-admitting bag lady! I love purses and bags.
I bought this at Bluegrass this past year and it's the BEST
$10 I've spent in a long time! I use it ALOT. Right now, its
serving the purpose of a wrestler's mom bag, full of snacks,
gatorade, camera, mapquest papers:) etc.
Don't know if you can read it, but it says
"BOSS LADY"
love it! The old western theme suits me to a "T"
My mandolin. It has become one of my favorite things.
I have always LOVED the sound of the mandolin. I am s-l-o-w-l-y learning
to play it. Have played it at a couple of "gigs" already and am lovin it.
I am happy with what I have already learned, but am overwhelmed
at what I have YET to learn.
And...last but certainly not least. My scrapbook stuff.
I love to do it, don't always have a lot of time for it. Have decided to leaveit set out downstairs and I work on it when I can. Someday, I hope to have a room or area where I can set up a big table and be much moreorganized than I am. I hope you enjoyed looking at my favorite things and I look forward to seeing yours! Join in the fun...come on!
