This Could Be

the

last

post

For awhile

This little bunny

And his brother/or sister??

Kept us busy for nearly a week
I knew I kept the Syringe
out for a reason.

It was their "bottle"

My darling boys found them in the back yard and
somehow the dog didn't find them first.
So, we fed them for about 5 days
and then let them loose out at the sheep barn.

I needed something else to do
{grin}
in the middle of packing and moving.

That's why this will be the last post for awhile
We will be moving this week and weekend.
We are very excited.
I won't have internet except at work and I won't
be able to post pics there.
I will be back
Eventually

Thoughts and prayers to those who surround my area
and have suffered great loss during the storms
the last several days.

Devastation

Everywhere you look.  It's either flooding or dry as a bone and burning up.

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.  You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.  Isaiah 58:11

A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.  Psalm 34:19

I pray for these people suffering from drought, wind, fire, flooding, loss of everything.  I pray that they will find peace from God in the midst of their trials, that they will be comforted and that if they do not know God, they will find him...that someone, somewhere will show them the love of Jesus.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;  My hope comes from him.  He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.  Psalm 62:5-6

I am learning, regardless of what I see with my eyes...the physical realm...God is bigger than ANYTHING.  He is always true...with my house selling, it literally looked as if we would not move...we had 3 people look at our house in 8 months...the house we wanted to buy was shown about 4 times weekly and that is not an exaggeration.  But.  The Lord told me over a year ago that we would move and it would be to that home~he even told me the price we would pay!  I felt like every other day was a new roadblock that could not be overcome, but I chose to stand on his promise that he gave me and spoke his word, calling my house sold while no one was even looking, calling the other home mine when others were making offers.  God does prevail, he never leaves and he does not lie!  The last year has been a huge growing period for me...I feel like I have been somewhat "refined" but be assured, there is much more to do!  I share this because I want others to be encouraged...don't be discouraged.  God never disappoints.  I am still believing for my oldest, ZB to be healed of diabetes.  Whenever he is having a bad day, I choose to thank God he's already healed and not go by what I see with my own eyes. (yes, I do still treat him and take care of him...geez. ;)

Well, now that this has turned into a sermon post...I'll end with pics! {smile}
Thanks to those who offered words of wisdom on picture editing in Picnik...it's working great, its slow and I have MANY pics to edit!  I hope to figure out today, how to upload more than 1 at a time...

Well.
Of course they are sideways.
{sarcasm}
And they won't rotate.
{sarcasm}
They look right in my picture library.
When downloaded, they turn and will NOT.
I repeat. NOT turn back.

Why must I be so challenged in the
techy part of life?????

Anyways...these are my nephews.

Recover

Recover= 1.  to get back; 2.  to bring back to normal position or condition; 3.  to make up for
that is Uncle Webster's version.
Recover= 1.  to lay around; 2.  to lay around and get some rest;  3.  to watch others work while you lay around.
That is my version.

Regardless of whose version you read...it's what I'm doing.  I had surgery on Thursday and now am in the "recovery" stage.  I tell ya, I don't necessarily feel like "doing" my normal, but I'm not sold on the laying around either!  But.  There is not a choice in the matter.  I am literally not able to do much more that that!

I'm doing fine, just slow.  My uterus was no longer my friend and now has a new zip code.  I am left with a bruised belly button and 3 small holes in my "never gonna be a six pack again" abdomen.

Ironically it's Mother's Day this weekend...and if I have never mentioned before...I have the best MOM evah!  She came up Wednesday night...got ZB to school and then to the hospital to sit with JB...has been around here washing clothes, cooking meals and just tidying up my very cluttered house.  She says she hasn't done anything, but all the clean clothes, food in the fridge tell otherwise...Oh yea and when I went to get a skillet out this morning...my drawer in the bottom of my stove was nice and CLEAN!  LOL
She is overdoing it I'm fairly sure...she just had knee surgery about 10 weeks ago...can't tell her anything...hhhmmmmm...wonder where I get it?!?!

There is only so much you can do with my house right now...it's going to be cluttered for awhile...

See this house?

This is my big news

We are moving!

Sometime towards the end of this month.

Nothing like, having surgery and moving in less than a month.
Our house has been for sale for nearly 7 months.  We didn't hardly
have anyone even look at it.  It has totally been in the Lord's hands.
So, I schedule my surgery and low and behold
we receive a contract on our house!  Anyway, life has been
in a bit of a whirlwind around here.  I packed alot before I had surgery and
that my friends, is why my house is a disaster!

More pics to come later.  I need to get upstairs
and get myself a shower...the hospital shower
was lacking in HOT water.

Have a wonderful weekend, if your momma's close by, hug her-tell her you love her.

A few Pics

Seems our moisture around here is showing up
in the form of
Golf ball size hail.
ICK
This is from a few weeks ago.  We sat down to eat supper,
heard a racket.  Looked out our patio doors
and this is what we saw in the neighbors yard.
Hail.  Falling like someone was on the roof
dumping out golf balls, but they were bouncing
like ping pong balls!

It was fairly warm out, so they were melting quickly.
There was hail of all sizes as you can see.
My yard was nearly white!

Speaking of moisture...there is none.
For Resurrection Sunday, we went to church
with my folks and spent the day with them.
My dad has been hauling water for several weeks now
to his cows.

This red limosine sweetie didn't look very appreciative
of the water we were bringing her.  Probably because
Dad brought a whole tribe of us to the pasture.
His cows are a bit skittish when he shows up with
4 grandsons(of which, 2 are dressed like army men), 1 son-in-law, and a daughter!

Dad and JB

ZB
Growing up too fast.
Can't believe he only has
2 weeks of school left.
Then my boy is going to
High School.(sad face)

CB
The army man.
He and my nephew were securing the area/road
that we travel to water the cows.
{smile}
It's about a 1/4 mile from the house.
My boys just LOVE being out in the country.
It makes me happy too.  Reminds me
of my youth and how much fun I had.

Well, I must go.
Have a wonderful Sunday and a Blessed week friends.
