Ever wondered what 10# of sugar looked like on the floor? Now you know. Had a major party foul in the kitchen today. Oh well, nothing my handy dandy sweeper can't get, right?

Dec 27th
We all had a very Merry Christmas in the Brazle house! Hope that you did as well. Now is the time to wash up all the new clothes and find places for the stuff we rec'd! That's ok, I'm so thankful for all that we rec'd. The boys had a great Christmas...they were up and ready to go at 4 a.m. AAAAHHHHH! So Justin and I finally got up with them at 4:30 and the opening of presents began. Tried to go back to bed after that, but it just wasn't working out. We took off for the barn, had feeding to do, Cutter took his new bow and arrow set, Zane took his new bike and they had fun playing while Justin and I did chores. We goofed around until around noon and came home and took a nice long nap! We grilled steaks for supper and had a Great day! I'm about ready to cross off the Turkey for Christmas. You can't beat a good steak! I think the boys and I will make a Ponca City run today....exchange a few gifts and deliver a Christmas Present to my grandparents. Sounds like snow again this evening......

1 Down...
Well, we had our first Christmas last night with Justin's mom and her husband. Had a great supper and gift exchange. The kids all played well and we got to visit. Justin's Grandma Pearl is 99 and spry as ever. She is so funny and I always enjoy hearing her, Jayna(sis-in-law) and Leta(mom-in-law) tell stories of Christmas' past. There are some funny things that have happened. We go again at noon today for the Brazle side. Will be quite different this year as Justin's grandpa passed away in July of this year and his Grandma is not doing so well. My boys are so fortunate to have so many Great-Grandparents that they will have fond memories of. They have 3 Great-Grandma's and 1 Great-Grandpa left and they do love to see the kids. Eldest being 99 1/2 and youngest almost 91. How's that for longevity? Merry Christmas, more later.

8 Days Till Christmas...
Can't believe I have a week to get it together. Looks like my lunch hours this week will be spent shopping fast and furious! Had wrestling tournament in Douglass yesterday. Zane went 1-2. He is doing awesome despite that. He loves it and we are so proud of him! Today was a busy day...Zane was baptized today at church, it was our Christmas Program, we missed a birthday party and our 4-H Christmas party. Justin is sick with the flu and we were gone all morning and thought we better come home and check on him. This is the first Sunday in a very long time we've been home all afternoon. It was so nice, the boys played outside and had a ball. The picture is of the two of them fussing...somehow or another the snowball fight ended up like this! Quite honestly, I'm ready to return to work, just for routine!!!!

Zane's first wrestling tournament was today in Ark City. He won 2 matches and lost 2! I'm so proud of him. He did great. He was so excited about today. He has been up since 5:30 am and ready to go. This is only his second year and he did so much better today in this first tournament that he did all last year! GO ZANE! Had fun, but glad to be home as the weather is YUCKY! We've done chores, waiting for Justin to get home and veg out for the rest of the day....YEA!
