More favorites

It took several shots to get just
the right one. :)

This was almost a year ago...which means this little
sweetie will be 2 very soon.

And last but not least, Nelson, the cutest darn pup
we had seen in awhile.
He is no longer a part of the family.
Nelson turned out to be a traveling sort of fellow.

Happy Birthday!

Today, My youngest boy, C*J*B is 11.  I can hardly believe it.  I have no idea where those years have gone.  I would love to have a post showing him from birth till now, but...

**I no longer have a scanner
**I did not have a digital camera then
**My baby is no longer a baby
**My computer crashed and I could not retrieve my pics I DID have scanned in

So...I will share some of my favorites that I do have available.

The boy is almost ALWAYS wearing a hat
of some kind

Hates having his picture taken and thinks I'll quit taking
it if he looks goofy!

Waiting his turn for showing sheep.  Holding his plaque for
Jr Reserve Sheep Showmanship
One of many proud moments

Just flat "tired" at the fair!  Our fair is the end of July
first of August and it's always right around
100 degrees!

Jumping H*I*G*H on his trampoline.  He almost
scares me just watching!

Talkin to the mutt dog, Angel.  She's so sweet,
she looks like she's listening!

My faithful helper in the kitchen when it's time to put
up apples.

He looks pretty intense here.  God Bless whoever
invented the apple peeler/corer/slicer.  It's the BOMB!

My basketball star this weekend.

Mr Snow/Man/Goggle/Guy

I love you much CB

Basketball and Stuff

First Snow
Yes, he is wearing his army helmet, face mask,, ski goggles
and a carhartt coat.  He does not, repeat, DOES NOT
care what anyone else thinks.  He loves all that
stuff and wears it all together. LOL

Game face.  Shooting free throws.

Tryin his best to block that shot, the kid was easily
4-6 inches taller than CB.

Trying to block another shot off a big kid.
I thought my boy was tall, but we've been
playing some teams that have GIANTS!

Going up for the rebound.

Backyard snow.

All the snow is gone now.  Warm temperatures melted it all away(most of it) and artic temps are on their way back to us tonite.  Not a fan of teens or below.  So Thankful for the moisture.
We head back north to play basketball in the morning.  Then to my mother-in-laws for supper to celebrate
CB's birthday.  My baby will be 11 on Monday.  I'm sad and glad all in one!
Have a wonderful Sunday.

Sports Time

Well, I must say, January 2011 is moving right along at a steady pace for our family.  Both boys are in sports right now...CB has his first Basketball tournament tomorrow, 4 games...EEK but thankfully it's here in town so no traveling this weekend.  ZB started wrestling this week, he gets home around 6pm and is a very sweaty and hungry boy.  As I sat down last weekend and began to jot in our "schedule" to the new calendar I began to see a trend...NO FREE WEEKENDS the month of January!  LOL  Okey dokey.  Oh well, I love watching the boys!

I had the best intentions of beginning the new year with a weekly post...I'm a little behind, but I hope to get into a groove soon.  We are still waiting for our home to sell.  I have been doing a few little projects on the house here and there, as I can.  But...time seems to be very limited and by evening...I'm tired!

Oh Yea, and JB is buying a lot of these.
More ladies coming in every week.  Can't complain
because I Love helping with them.  I just
don't get to as much as I would like.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord!

2010 Comes to an End

I have to be honest here, looking back over this past year, my family has seen a lot of challenges and difficulties and has overcome many of them...Thanks Be to God.  I actually welcome a new year, not to wish time away but to get a "new" start, have a clean slate, whatever you want to call it~I just know for certain I do not want another year like 2010.  We experienced many Blessings, but the hardships seemed to outweigh the Blessing side...at least at certain times.  But...Praise the Lord, my husband's back is much better and he is UP and going at about 90%, My father-in-law has Whipped non-hodgkins lymphoma, My Grandma is enjoying her new body in heaven and I am Blessed beyond measure!

A few pics from our Holidays

Christmas Eve at MeMe and PaPa's house
I think this is funny, looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger
was in our picture!  LOL

Mr Ben is getting so big...going on
2 yrs old and totally entertained
us with his very active dancing.
He is a HAM.

Say what?

My family...my sister and her boys, Mom and Dad

Christmas morn...I love this, the boys were
S*H*O*C*K*E*D
to see that Santa brought a Wii.
I'm still in shock that Santa brought a Wii
(wink wink)
