SNEak PeEk

My new kitchen/dining combo area that looks like a tornado went thru..if you go right at the china
hutch you would see the rest of my kitchen.  It does look a bit better now.  Not quite as cluttered.
Still has paneling and UGLY carpet.

My view from my living room.  Looking over the cornfield
in the evenings.

This is ZB's bedroom.  All the bedrooms were STARK white with this lovely, celery green shag carpet.  You can't really see that his walls are now gray.  New bedding that is black/gray/white plaid.  New ceiling fan and light fixture.  Carpet to come.  Someday.

This is my bathroom...that is fixin to get a COMPLETE re-do.  There are so many things wrong with this bathroom, I'll just tell ya what is right and going to stay.  That would be the window and the vanity cabinet.  We are getting a shower, new sink/countertop, floor, toilet and on the backside of this bathroom(right) is our bedroom.  We will open up the closet and close off the door to the hallway(where I'm standing for the picture) and make it a master bathroom.  They can't start until October {sad face}.

I really can't get enough of these beautiful sunsets.

Last but not least.

My gorgeous, green bean carpet that is EVERYWHERE!  Well, living area.  Isn't it wonderful?
{total sarcasm}
It too will go away.
Someday.

More pics to share, but must go.  Took for-evah to download
these few.  Having a birthday supper for JB and my mom tonite.
Have a great week.

HOT HOT HOT

That's what's going on here.  OMGosh.  We are having our Stocker/Feeder sale tomorrow at our sale barn and it's quite a challenge to keep these cattle cooled off and plenty of water.  We have sprinklers set up on the pens and my oldest boy spends his day filling water tanks.  It's so dry here, people are selling their cattle and even their cows.  We will probably have around 3000 head tomorrow.

Still  have no internet at home, still have not downloaded any new pics, have hardly posted anything new or worth reading...Forgive me please.  Thank you.  We are soooo busy at the barn and our county fair is in 2 weeks and....then I have my other job--oh yea and remember, I moved about 6 weeks ago.  Yea.  Still am not totally unpacked.  Oh well, I have this winter right?  LOL

Stay cool and please don't leave my blog...I promise to be a better blogger soon!!
If you're looking for something to do tomorrow around 11am CST...check out  our sale, you can watch live thru cattleusa.com my hubby is an auctioneer( I think he's AWESOME!) as well as my f-i-l--- click here and click on the tab, Winfield Livestock Auction.

Have a great week friends!!

This Could Be

the

last

post

For awhile

This little bunny

And his brother/or sister??

Kept us busy for nearly a week
I knew I kept the Syringe
out for a reason.

It was their "bottle"

My darling boys found them in the back yard and
somehow the dog didn't find them first.
So, we fed them for about 5 days
and then let them loose out at the sheep barn.

I needed something else to do
{grin}
in the middle of packing and moving.

That's why this will be the last post for awhile
We will be moving this week and weekend.
We are very excited.
I won't have internet except at work and I won't
be able to post pics there.
I will be back
Eventually

Thoughts and prayers to those who surround my area
and have suffered great loss during the storms
the last several days.

Devastation

Everywhere you look.  It's either flooding or dry as a bone and burning up.

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.  You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.  Isaiah 58:11

A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.  Psalm 34:19

I pray for these people suffering from drought, wind, fire, flooding, loss of everything.  I pray that they will find peace from God in the midst of their trials, that they will be comforted and that if they do not know God, they will find him...that someone, somewhere will show them the love of Jesus.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;  My hope comes from him.  He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.  Psalm 62:5-6

I am learning, regardless of what I see with my eyes...the physical realm...God is bigger than ANYTHING.  He is always true...with my house selling, it literally looked as if we would not move...we had 3 people look at our house in 8 months...the house we wanted to buy was shown about 4 times weekly and that is not an exaggeration.  But.  The Lord told me over a year ago that we would move and it would be to that home~he even told me the price we would pay!  I felt like every other day was a new roadblock that could not be overcome, but I chose to stand on his promise that he gave me and spoke his word, calling my house sold while no one was even looking, calling the other home mine when others were making offers.  God does prevail, he never leaves and he does not lie!  The last year has been a huge growing period for me...I feel like I have been somewhat "refined" but be assured, there is much more to do!  I share this because I want others to be encouraged...don't be discouraged.  God never disappoints.  I am still believing for my oldest, ZB to be healed of diabetes.  Whenever he is having a bad day, I choose to thank God he's already healed and not go by what I see with my own eyes. (yes, I do still treat him and take care of him...geez. ;)

Well, now that this has turned into a sermon post...I'll end with pics! {smile}
Thanks to those who offered words of wisdom on picture editing in Picnik...it's working great, its slow and I have MANY pics to edit!  I hope to figure out today, how to upload more than 1 at a time...

Well.
Of course they are sideways.
{sarcasm}
And they won't rotate.
{sarcasm}
They look right in my picture library.
When downloaded, they turn and will NOT.
I repeat. NOT turn back.

Why must I be so challenged in the
techy part of life?????

Anyways...these are my nephews.
