When the weather warms up, I find that I have the tendency to work harder on the weekends than during the week. I'm ready to go to work tomorrow so I can rest! I have sore muscles, sunburned shoulders and I'm down right Tired! We had a cleaning day at the church yesterday...washing windows, cleaning out closets, I re-potted several of our plants that were in dire need! We left there after a yummy dinner of sloppy joes and other goodies and headed to shear our sheep...yep all 8 of the 4-H lambs have officially been to the salon for a wash, cut and style. Let me tell ya, the washing was WORK! Oh my gosh....nothing like that wool all matted with mud and manure. They are not really broke to lead well yet either. Or at least the one I took to be shorn....no, I had me a genuine Jumpin lamb....yep, jumped up in the air instead of taking steps forward. My arms are sore from pulling on that darn thing. Oh well, it's good for me and a great reminder that I really need to do more physical labor!
Today, more busy work...My guys all went fishin today. Left early and got home late afternoon. I went to church, Bible school meeting, WalMart and finally home. I really do not like going to Walmart....I'm weird I know, but I liked our Small store much better than our Super Store that is out of stuff on a regular basis. What's up with their produce? Why does it look like it's been on a truck for 3 weeks with No cooler? ICK! Bought all my staples today...everyone in the house needed shampoo, etc. Will make a Dillons run later this week. We're headed to the lake for Memorial weekend...need to get groceries for that. I really haven't even worked in the camper yet. Aaahhh so much to do. Oh well. That's what I love about the camper...It's stocked and pretty much ready at all times...need some clothes and food, but everything else is ready to rock and I can wipe down the counters etc when we get there! The boat is tarped and ready to roll too. I baked some choc chip cookies and stuck them in the freezer, they will taste good this weekend. I need to go to the library this week as well, nothing better than a good book to read at the lake.
Well, I need to get busy...have lots to do before bed.

I had my first experiance shearing sheep week before last. I think we did close to one hundred. I think that was close to the most tired I have ever been.Are you going to Table Rock? We are going back for July 4th.
we are...we always go the week before--end of June. Too bad we always miss each other! We're coming back on the 28th of June.
I know what you mean about working harder on the weekends than you do on the week days!

That's so funny about Walmart. My husband and I were just having a conversation about how much we hate going there and how their produce is the worst! I was driving down Main St the other day and saw this little old lady who lives in one of the big houses on main st. walking to one of the stores and I thought how awful for her that the little grocery store that used to be on main closed last summer because of being driven out by places like stinky Walmart. She doesn't drive, so she walks and her little grocery is gone....It's just sad. Ok I am rambling!
