Cheap entertainment :)

A week goes by way too fast. I thought it would be easy to keep up the blog with a weekly posting...at least, but that is proven to NOT be the case. I hope all my blogger buddies have not gone off and left me since this has become the Blog with FEW updates!

I say this all the time...but life is just going by way too fast--sometimes I feel like a little girl again on the merry-go-round going so fast that all you can do is just sit tight and hang on. Problem being, I wanted to go FAST then, now I want to SLOW it all down. It really makes me reflect on my time spent--is it productive busyness OR just busyness? I think there is a good mix...not sure if it's balanced but it's mixed. I guess that can be something else for me to work on--finding the happy medium.
Well, much has happend since the last post...last of the basketball games for CB, beginning of Middle School wrestling has begun, work has been busy--buying a new set of cattle which makes for cattle to feed and work, clothes to wash...etc etc.
CB LOVED basketball...of course not at first! Those who know him personally can vouch for that. I FORCED him to play Rec Ball. I'm sure some people thought that was just terrible, but they are not his parent :) I have to FORCE him to brush his teeth, do his homework, take a bath...you get the picture! After the first practice, he loved it and his coaches were Awesome...he was actually the most improved player on his team. They had a very BAD season, but ended the season with a WIN--finally and CB scored 6 pts and had several rebounds. He was really starting to get the feel for it at the end. He's looking forward to another season. I'm excited...it was really fun to watch.
ZB is wrestling for the Middle School...I can't believe I have a child in Middle School...AAAAHHHH. He has wrestled before, but it had been several yrs and it was with our Local Wrestling Club. This is a bit different. He is on the JV team, there are 33 boys out for wrestling--I thought that was a lot! Last night was his first dual...he pinned his first guy in the first period!! First one ever! WHOO HOO In his second match, he won 4-0! His sweet smile from ear to ear was Priceless...I was so darn excited I didn't get the picture of the pin. :)
It was a lot of fun to watch all the boys, they all worked hard and did well as we(Vikings) WON the whole thing! There coach was neat to watch as he was very encouraging to every boy as he came off the mat. Fun evening.
JB and I are just keepin on, keepin on. Lovin to watch our KSU Wildcats in Basketball...when we get the opportunity--work, cattle and chasing the boys are occupying the rest of our time.
THANKS to all of you who have prayed and sent well wishes for our family! Good news to report that my dad is doing well and the tumor was Benign--Mom is slowly getting better...not recouperating as fast as she would like, but it just takes time. JB's mom's husband who had the stroke is doing GOOD! My m-i-l is Awesome and has worked very hard at helping him get recovered with his speech, etc. He has made great strides! God is so good and I thank him every day for our many blessings...
Rise and Shine, Give God the Glory
Children of the Lord!
Wishing you another Blessing filled week

I love your picture at the top of your blog! It is beautiful! Hope the snow today won't slow you down too much! Or maybe it will slow you down alot and you can sit in your jammies in front of a fire and dream about what you will plant in your flowerbeds! Have a great day! Blessings!

Looks like you have been busy too.
We have been going to basketball games. We are getting a little tired of the snow, but it will make for a great spring and summer, the moisture that is.
Grace is loving college and I am so glad. I was worried because she tends to be a home body. Talk to ya soon.
