Recipe Share

I told you I would share the recipe for ZB's Birthday cake..this is SUPER easy and DELISH!  I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

KANSAS DIRT CAKE

1  16oz pkg of OREOS
1  8oz. pkg of cream cheese-softened
1/2 cup butter-softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 carton Cool Whip-thawed
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Crush cookies--(I sometimes just use my hands or put them in a baggie and use the rolling pin on them)Put half of the crushed cookies in a 9x13 baking dish.  Mix your cream cheese & butter with mixer, add powdered sugar, mix until smooth then Fold in cool whip.  In a separate bowl, mix pudding as directed on box and add the vanilla.  Fold pudding mix into cream cheese mixture.  Spread over your pan of cookie crumbs...put other half of crushed cookies on top.  Freeze or chill.  This is a great summer dessert...enjoy.

Yummy! We make this for the students birthday celebrations - they choose each year if they want a present or a special lunch of their choice for the whole class. This is one of the favorite desserts, we also make Sand - using vanilla wafers.
