Have I ever mentioned that my youngest son
can be dramatic?
Now you know.
Just look at his face.
We have a line of hedge trees on the east side of the driveway
When we moved in, they were a bit overgrown
So JB and the boys commenced to tree trimmin
Oh Look, CB has been scratched.
Yes, there were thorns on those hedge limbs.
But. Seriously.
Doesn't he look like he L*O*V*E*S his work?
{grin}
JB is doing the trimming, the boys were the picker-up-ers
Have you ever been the picker-up-er-er?
I have.
Several pickup loads later....we had a nice
big brush pile
Note the nice green corn crop in the back.
Today. It is burned up. Nothing produced.
Nada. Zilcho. Zero.
It's a little hard to see, but look close...
This is the dirt line on CB's arm.
His wrist is the clean{er} part of the arm.

I was always the picker uper and the go-fer. Always. CB, I feel your pain, man! ;)
I was SOOOOO sad that sweet corn didn't make down here this year. Boo to the hoo.
Tell CB that hard work builds character. Our kids say that their character is crammed in tight and overflowing. LOL! After next week, we will be empty nesters, thus I will be the lone stick picker-upper. Just not the same. :(
what?? not one kernel of corn? geez...that stinks!
and yes, i've totally been the picker upper before! :)
Too funny - that was probably me at his age! Ha! Love the pictures and the commentary!
