When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like the shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. James 1:13-18 (NIV)
Many times I have said, "I'm being tempted." and I was meaning tempted by God. Oh My, countless times. I have repented of those words and Praise the Lord, I know the TRUTH...and the TRUTH shall set me free!!! It seems lately that I have heard these words, "God is tempting me" ALOT. I am so sad to hear those words and I try to often share this scripture with whoever is speaking those words...it is NOT TRUE! Anything good is of GOD, anything BAD is of the DEVIL. Deuteronomy 28 lists all the Blessings and Curses...Our free will will cause us to be tempted. Our flesh must be trained to not give way to sin. It's very hard but it can be done. How? By feeding on the word of GOD, the TRUTH! It was so refreshing to learn that GOD was not tempting me! I'm not saying he doesn't Allow us to go thru things-- but HE(God) is not the source of the Temptation. There are always going to be difficulties and trials--but I am so thankful my GOD is like a ROCK, never changing, never wavering, never doubting, never leaving--always loving, always forgiving, always merciful, always bigger than anything!
I pray that these words are of encouragement and hope to all who read them.

Seriously?
I am in NO WAY for cloning. But, let me say, there needs to be another me these days. Good Lord, I'm meeting myself coming and going, asking and answering myself and wondering about half the time, who am I? who are you? where are we? {smile}
I will try to make this a short version of my long story. Starting back in July of last year, you may remember me talking about my dear husband having some back trouble...which turned into be a herniated disc which needed surgery. He had surgery(micro-diskectomy) on Sept 30, 2009. But before that, he was totally down, in bed, unable to do anything but lay around...I had to help him get dressed, etc. It was not good. So we see a Dr that we weren't crazy about...but we were desperate...my poor hubby was DOWN so we went ahead and went with this dr.
There is no way it re-herniated...he's been in bed and hardly able to work. It was {never} fixed.
Get another appt with a different Dr who comes highly recommended...after waiting nearly 6 wks to get in...we saw him last Wednesday. He was WONDERFUL. Very kind, knowledgeable and encouraging that he can fix Justin's back and get him going again with no problems. PRAISE THE LORD! This involves another surgery and its a little more invasive...going thru the abdomen, cleaning up the disc, cleaning up the degeneration(arthritis) in there and then placing "cages" in where the disc goes so it will fuse to the bone. When we left there...the first opening for surgery was going to be June 17th....WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? They put him on a cancellation list and we left, praying for God to provide a way for it to be sooner for several reasons. #1 Justin is hurting so much and unable to work or do anything. #2 Our insurance deductible starts over on June 1st #3 JB is taking so darn much medicine, his tummy is tore up. God is Good...by Monday morning they called and had a cancellation for May 6th! YEA! We are still on a cancellation list in the event there is something even sooner but that is soooooo much better!
What I've learned: I do not like being a single parent; It is impossible to keep up with a job outside the home, the boys and activities, laundry and maintain a home; I'm weak; God continues to be faithful even when I'm not; I am blessed beyond measure with wonderful family and friends; I'm tough;
I am happy to say our ladies{heifers} are going to be shipped to grass in 2 days...that will be a HUGE help. Think about taking care of 560 women! LOL!!! BUT...we will be getting 4-H lambs on Sunday afternoon. It won't take nearly as long to chore those sheep :)
Thanks to all of you who have prayed for my mom...she is doing better since Heart Cath and Stent #2...I honestly can't even remember if I've even told that story. That was about 1 month ago--I'm telling ya...there has been so much happen, I can't keep up...
I look forward to catching up on my blog reading...I'm wwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyyy Behind. I really appreciate those of you that continue to stop by and visit me. I really look forward to your sweet and encouraging comments. Sending all of you a Blessing Filled Week!!!

BIG MISTAKE
He struggles along until about December, thinking he is just needing to fully recouperate, even though we had a bad feeling about it all...he came out of surgery hurting much worse than he went in and I really didn't think that was possible. We contact the dr...basically he says that he should be fine, he can have another MRI if he wants--won't try a different anti-inflammatory med, we have to beg for Physical Therapy. It's end of January, first of February by now...we get another MRI ordered by our Family Doc...it shows the disc still herniated. AAAAAHHHHHHThere is no way it re-herniated...he's been in bed and hardly able to work. It was {never} fixed.

Up From The Grave He Arose!!!
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe, sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. "Don't be alarmed," he said. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. HE HAS RISEN! He is not here. See the place where they had laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, "He is going ahead of you into Galilee, There you will see him, just as he told you." Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. Mark 16:4-8 NIV
Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: IN MY NAME THEY WILL DRIVE OUT DEMONS; THEY WILL SPEAK IN NEW TONGUES; THEY WILL PICK UP SNAKES WITH THEIR HANDS; AND WHEN THEY DRINK DEADLY POISON, IT WILL NOT HURT THEM AT ALL; THEY WILL PLACE THEIR HANDS ON SICK PEOPLE AND THEY WILL GET WELL."
Mark 16:14-18 NIV
Praise the Lord that my family and I understand that this Day is more than just about some bunnies and eggs. While I've celebrated with those 2 things as well, The more my relationship grows with the Lord, the more those things become less and less important...if only the world could see that. Have I done my part to help the world see that this is about Jesus' Ressurection? No, I haven't. But that is where I'm going to change. Jesus said in the last verses I posted up top.
Go into All the world and preach the good news to ALL creation
My challenge to you(and me) for this week and all weeks to come.....
Go into all the world and preach good news-there are so many ways to do just that. Seek the Lord and he will show you, he will place you in the right place at the right time and you will be AMAZED at what will happen....and someone will be Blessed, including YOU!!
Have a Wonderful RESSURECTION SUNDAY!!!
