This was a very special day for our family and for a very special lady...JB's grandma was 100 years old today and we celebrated! She is one of the neatest ladies I've ever known and I'm so blessed to have become part of their family--for many reasons, Grandma being one of them! I'm so amazed at her, she lives in an assisted living facility. Sets the tables for every meal in the dining room for all the residents, because she loves doing it and she loves to be busy! She has kept a scrapbook for many years and Busies herself around the building visiting and enjoying life to the fullest. I had a lady tell me today, "I think the reason she has lived so long and still looks so good is because she has never had a bad thought and I have them all the time, I probably won't live as long!" I proceeded to tell her how much truth I thought was in that statement! In 15 years, I've never heard her mention a cross word about ANYONE! What a blessed life she has lived and continues to live! And what a great example she is to all of us and anyone who knows her. I hope all of you that read this post are inspired to think great thoughts all the time, give the Glory to God and live a blessed life!

I loved this post so much. My grandmother was 97 when she passed away, and I still miss her so much. She was such a Godly woman, a true example. And she was my best friend as well. And she, like you said about your grandmother, never said a bad thing about anybody. I never heard an unkind word, or a profanity come out of her mouth. Such as example of walking the 'walk'.
I love that she is 100! Wow! And such a beautiful lady!
Thank you for sharing the thoughts and the pictures.
