I'm Back

My nephew, Rance

Little Brother Ben

ZB first day of 7th grade

My 2 sweet boys....don't they just
look thrilled?! ha ha I ALWAYS
take a first day of school and last day
of school picture...love seeing how
they change over the school year.
They think it's "dumb", and I do
quote them.

CB first day of 4th grade

No, I can't say that I've been on any glamorous vacation or anything very exciting...just living life and watching it go way too fast for me. WOW...It has been a wonderful summer for the most part...my boys just started school yesterday~2 weeks later than normal. That was ok with me...and them. I'm always ready for the break from school and always glad to return to some structure and routine. I do much better with that. I might even be able to blog!

So how has everyone been? Or do I even have any readers left? Gosh I hope so, I have sooooo missed my blogger buddies and meeting new buddies too. I just can't believe how it has taken the back seat in my life! ha ha

I must ask for prayer for my DH...he is really having trouble with his lower back...he has had 2 injections and is scheduled for the 3rd next Tuesday. He seems worse after the 2nd one...needless to say, it has really put a damper on his summer...he came home from vacation at Tablerock Lake like this(end of June) and has gotten worse since. He's frustrated, I'm frustrated...yada yada yada.

I think both boys are adjusting to school...it's only the 2nd day, but all seems to be going well thus far and for that I'm thankful!

My goal is to get back to at least one post per week and hopefully more. I'm trying to spend more time studying my Bible and less time "wasted", not that I think Blog time is a waste! I just am trying to use my time more wisely. God gave me that awhile back... when I was complaining about "never having time to do anything...if I could just quit my job...blah blah blah", he said....use your time wisely...it's that simple and I have not been! So, I'm working on that. So bear with me...I love visiting your blogs and I LOVE hearing from my readers.

I pray that everyone who reads this has a wonderful and blessed week...

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.
1 Peter 1:8

Sometimes it easy to let your time just get used up! And then you get in a rush and everyone gets stressed. Been there and done that. Then you have to step back and focus... He helps us figure these things out But we have to ask for help!! I tend to forget to ask... Working on that. You have some cute boys!!
Looking forward to future blog post from you!!

The hair on that little Ben is just PRECIOUS. I totally know the 'wasted time saga', and I don't even have a job outside the home. Gotta be good stewards of our time, I'm right there with ya. I did start blogging again though, and it's been nice. Will pray for your hubby, I know sooo many people struggling with back pain right now, and I know those injections aren't pleasant.

Great to hear from you! Wonderful pictures of handsome boys! We are struggling to get used to being back in school too. Getting back into the routine is always a good time to refocus on priorities and get back to more bible study for me. I don't manage my time well and have to work on not wasting it too. Thanks for the reminder and that I am not alone in that. I pray that your husband feels better soon. It is no fun being in pain. Blessings! Amy

Well I'm glad to see you back!! I know the pain that your Hubby is having...I too had injections, mine were nerve blocks. And I will say that the second one bothered me more than the first.. I still have problems with mine but I'm going to hold out on anymore "management" type fixes...Will be praying for him!!!
