HOPE

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good, and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:1-5

Arise!

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Isaiah 60:1-3

On My Way...

Tomorrow around 12:30 pm I'm going to be on my merry way to Crop Camp! Oh so excited. A weekend of fun, scrappin, laughing, and did I mention fun? I have some friends that started this camp about 7 years ago...a weekend of scrappin at a beautiful campground...that is local...at least for me. Only about 15ish miles away---we stay at the camp, you only leave if you want to or need to...I only leave on Sunday...on my way home. I load up the van with all my goods, snacks, sleeping bag, pillows and comfy clothes and have a ball. I need to get busy...have much to do before I can go tomorrow...laundry running out my, well, my laundry room and a dirty house aaannnnddd my family thinks they want supper!

My building last year and actually the only
building I've scrapped in...there are 3 but this
is the Oxford Gals...
Scrappin buddy Paige...oh how she makes me
laugh!
Other scrappin buddy/table buddy and camping
buddy and just a good friend, Traci...we have
a lot of fun together...she makes me laugh as well!

Have a Blessed Weekend....

Beautiful Fall Colors

My onrey boys

Love that orange/yellow tree

I rounded up my boys this afternoon and took them to our local college here in town and took some fall pics before the leaves all blow off and away...they were pretty busy being silly AND uncooperative but I did manage to get a few decent pics.

ZB, my big 7th grade guy~

CB, my onrey 4th grader
Last night my sister and Mr Ben stopped by for a bit...he is growing so fast. He's had 2 haircuts & he's 7 months old now. CB loved playing with him.

His momma went to pick up some diapers and
he had this look most of the time she was gone!

Nothing prettier than a sunset in the Flint Hills
of Kansas

Thank you God for the beautiful sunset...
you painted a great picture for us to
enjoy yesterday evening.

Last night my boys and I went to the KSTATE vs. TEXAS A&M game in Manhattan. We left yesterday a.m. around 945 and got home at 130 this a.m. LONG day but Oh so Fun!

My boys had never been to a game...so I bought tickets several months ago and thought it would be a fun family trip...and it was, but DH did not get to go with us. He is 2 1/2 weeks post back surgery and was not up for the 3 hour ride up, long day and ride home. Soooo...we took a friend, Angie...she is a KSTATE fan as well and had never been to a game. We had so much fun! Thanks for going with me Ang...it would have been an even LoNGer ride home by myself with sleeping boys.
It's been so long since I've posted anything...I nearly forgot my password! ha ha
Not really, but gosh, I can't seem to get on the Blog to read or post. My life has been in a bit of chaos since JB's surgery. I have simply just been in a dead run...I don't want to bore you with all the silly details but it's been crazy and I'm ready for things to get back to normal--whatever that is!
I can't believe that we are nearing the end of October already. It's going too fast for me...I literally have something to do every Saturday, ( I said Saturday) until December...did I mention EVERY SATURDAY?????????? Yea, well, see where I'm going with this? It may be awhile before I post again! I am going to try really hard this week to get caught up on everyone's blogs...please don't stop coming by to visit me here. I LOVE hearing from everyone!
Hope ya'll have a wonderful and Blessed week.

Check this Out

I have a little something to share with my fellow bloggers...I have a very dear friend in Christ and co-worker who is such an inspiration to me and totally helps keep me in check...her name is Lisa...she went to Israel last Fall and was sooooo Blessed! God has really been working with her and has laid upon her heart that she is to go back to Israel...in 3 WEEKS! WOW...she is taking a leap of faith, which she makes look like a tiptoe-LOL!

I'm asking all of my readers, followers and friends to join with me in prayer for Lisa and her group as they head to Israel. Please check out this website...this is who she will be going with.

Thank you in advance for your prayers...I really felt like I was to share this on my blog.
