Slate Creek Lodge was the place to be.
A fun weekend of scrapbooking, visiting with old
friends, meeting new friends, accomplishing much,
and enjoying good food.

I got ALOT done at my Scrapbook overnight trip.
This was the view we had while we scrapbooked.
Big Pond. My boys would have loved to been
out there fishing.
A few pics of some of my finished pages. I think I completed
20+ and was thrilled. So much fun with great company.
We will go back. For sure!
We got stopped by a train on our way to the
get-away. I loved all the colors of the cars
on this train and had to get a picture!
Sunday Morning...I woke up around 645. Got my shower,
Made some coffee and hoped I would see the sunrise.
It was kind of cloudy that day.
I was not disappointed.
At all.
I just love a beautiful sunrise.
Don't try to tell me there isn't a God.
Isn't he just the best artist?
I think so.

I go over to Slate Creek once a year with a group. We love it too. So peaceful. Maybe we will go together some day. =0)
Those are so awesome! I tried like one page of scrapbooking and that was that. I love looking at what you scrappers put together you just amaze me.

I'm so glad you got away for a weekend of fun and scrapping. Your pages are great and looking at them makes me want to break out the scrapping supplies! Thank you for sharing them with us! Like you, I wonder how anyone can dispute God's existence. Just take the time to open your eyes. What a magnificent sunrise!
Gosh that sounds like such a good time. I have always wanted to get into scrapbooking. I need to start taking more pictures, maybe this weekend will be a good start!

i totally agree ~ who can look at this beauty that surrounds us and doubt God's existence. i think that ALL the time while being outside here in the mountains!
