*UPDATE*
Dad came out of surgery doing great. Thank you for all the kind
words and prayers. They are appreciated!! If all goes well, they
will send him home Sunday.
My sweet and awesome daddy will have a knee replacement tomorrow.
It's L*O*N*G overdue. Please pray for a smooth surgery and recovery.
He is not the best patient...he is a farmer. He thinks that things will
never get done if he's down. ha ha
He has put this off too long. But, because of the very dry summer
last year, he put it off, he started hauling water to his cattle around Easter
last year and didn't quit until Fall.
I trust that God will bring him thru easily...as I've prayed for God to hand pick each nurse and anyone else that will be in contact with dad.
Happy Leap Year Day Friends!

Praying dear friend for your daddy, the Drs, nurses, all medical staff, and for y'all! Keep us posted.
Good luck to your daddy today. men can be the worst of patients. but its great hes getting it fixed so he can get back to it. :)
Praying for your Daddy. My Mom had this done a few years ago. Not sure if you are close to him and can be there but the first night is pretty rough. I would suggest that someone stay through the night in the hospital with him. He will do fine but Mom was glad to have someone there because she was in pretty significant pain. I don't say this to worry you but I was glad I was able to be up there and help her through that first night. My Dad is just like yours. He thinks the farm will collapse if he is gone for more than two days. Gotta love our farmer/rancher Dad's. Blessings!
Yes, farmers adn ranchers are stubborn that way. Praying that all goes well. I have heard the recuperation time is a bit long, but worth it in the end. mor
