Just Think About It...

Do YOU really BELIEVE that WHAT you BELIEVE is REALLY real? My cousin brought this to my attention a few weeks ago and it's played over and over in my mind since then. Think of the power of that statement?! Her Sunday School Class is doing a study and this statement was brought out the first week. Think about it and let me know your thoughts! I find it fascinating, convicting, exciting, puzzling. It makes me think about my faith and what am I doing or Not doing to help or hinder it!

I can't believe I've gone over a week with out posting. It's been busy, I had the stomach flu straight from the depths of Hell 1 week ago tonite. Wow...wasn't totally back to normal until last Friday. My good friend, P(BrokenY) called me to see if I needed sprite or gatorade! What a gal, it was funny in a way, I thought of her family and the "GREAT GREEN FUNK" that was in their home for a month off and on! Praise the Lord, no one else in my family got it. DH has had a bad sinus infection, my youngest son has changed schools(long story) and oldest son has been out of school yesterday and today with ridiculously HIGH blood sugars. Took him to the dr this a.m. and he's got a big fat sinus infection and bulging ear drums. He is a little better tonite but he is still having sugars that are too high. I hope it's bacterial so that the antibiotics will help him. We've been soooo busy at work---there are so many sick people. It's terrible.

Brotherly Love, Wrestling..excuse my clothesline.

Like my new tattoo?

Can you believe it's February already? So....what's the deal? Do you and your Valentine do a big "Hoorah" for Valentines day or is it just another day? For us, it's just another day. I think one of our first Valentines....I got new tennis shoes! And I was ok with that! JB has never bought me flowers...well, maybe once or twice. That is so ok with me. I know women that would have their britches in a bunch because they didn't get flowers. I think it's a waste...in a sense. I would rather buy lots of flowers to plant in the spring than have a bouquet for a week.
We love each other the same without all the fancy schmancy cards, chocolates, flowers etc. That's just not us. It is fun to go have a nice supper though!

Well, tomorrow is cattle sale day...should be fairly busy, the ice hurt us last week. Nothing but blue skies tomorrow baby! Have a great week. Lookin forward to hearing from all my bloggin buddies!!!

Glad you are feeling better, sorry you were sick. Praying for your youngest's sugars, and oldest's transistion.
On V-day we celebrate provided we have time, (in between rodeo, basketball, wrestling, etc), are off work, and have the gumption! I did find a really great card for DH - it plays that song, "I Swear". Ds will be out with his sweetie, so we may go out as well - depending on my mono!
Great to hear from you again and I love the pictures!

Man, sorry you have been sick! Durn computer made me miss alot!

Busy, that's how it always is I guess!

I'll have to think about your opening statement and get back to ya!

Valentines Day, hmmm just another day for us to! Savannah makes cards for us and I normally do alittle something for her. But I'm with you he has only bought me flowers once and I threw a fit and told him not to waste his money on flowers, I would much rather have something I can use! I know some women that would have a hissy fit if they didn't get this or that on V day, but not me! I still love him and he still loves me, good enough!

Heha! We always show up with Valentine Goodies the day after! We hit the sales! How cheap is that!

I'm thinkin' on your statement too! A great book is "Evidence that Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell.

Sorry you had the stomach bug...EEK! Don't want that...we don't get that much in our house..knock on wood!!!

Valentine's Day mostly big deal now to our kids...I guess I am to blame for that!! I have been a room Mom now for the last 8 years now starting with our oldest, now middle child and our youngest isn't in school yet so I still have many years to go! lol Before we were married and before we had kids I always got a new pair of cowboy boots from my Valentine!! Have a great day!!

Yuck - stomach bug. Nothing I fear more than that.

On the faith issue - I heard a saying once - "I believe in the sun even if it does not shine, I believe in love even if I do not not feel it, I believe in God even when He is silent." That sums me up pretty well!

I'm not a flower kind of girl either. I cut flowers from my yard in the summer and put them in vases, but I don't care for expensive bouquets that die!

Hope you are all feeling better soon.

Hope you and the fam are feelin' better!

The hubby and I do average things for valentines. Get each other cards. He gets me flowers sometimes. This year I am buying him two feed troughs for the calves!

As for my camera, I have two. They are both Canons. My point and shoot that I LOVE and carry in my purse at all times is a Canon Powershot SX100 IS. I swear it is the best point and shoot ever! Recently, I bought a DSLR cause I really wanted to expand my photography. It is a Canon Rebel XSi.

Have a great weekend!

Grrr I think the bug has bit everyone here as of late. I hope you are feeling better.

Yes I believe, as a matter of fact I am a firm believer.

I too would rather get plantable flowers! Those floral shops make a killing, on those poor guys.

Great pictures!
