The Lord led me to these verses last Friday. I'm being led to share them with you now!
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:6-8 (NIV)
Wow...Overflowing with Thankfulness. Need to work on that one. Human tradition and basic principles of this world...yep, they're EVERYWHERE! I pray that we can all keep our eyes on Jesus...he will never lead us astray. Some days will be easier than others, but press on, he is there waiting for us!!! Have a wonderful Monday!

Oh, that's a good one. I think the second part of that verse is really fitting considering the state of the world around us today.
Thanks for sharing that.

Fabulous verse to start the week.... I know I need to work on the "thankfulness" part instead of being such a complainer sometimes.
Thank you! Great to start Monday morning reading such awesome words! Blessings! Amy
Good word to begin this week. I tend to be thankful for some things but not all of it! Good job!

Wonderful words from the Good Book! We all need a little reminder to be thankful for the blessings that we have been given.
