Saturday morning. Instead of doing laundry and cleaning house I chose to join the menfolk in my family and go fishin. I'm so glad I did. It turned out to be a beautiful day and good fishin!
We drove several of these roads to many different ponds.
It's so beautiful~this ranch belongs to my father in laws cousin.
It's about 15 miles east of where I live.
We are very blessed to have tall grass and full ponds.
This is the same ranch we send our cattle to grass on.

One of the pastures we went to had this big draft horse and a couple of donkeys with the cattle.
This big guy was very curious...he was checking out the tackle box.

Really love seeing the ponds and pasture land.

My BIG catch! This is the biggest bass I've ever caught.
We caught about 4 this size and several a little smaller.

Good call on the choice! Laundry can't hold a candle to fishing! Envious of all of that green grass. I seem to vaguely recall what it looks like, but it's been a long while since I've actually seen it.

How fun! We were up your way last weekend, Saturday and Sunday actually (went to some revival meetings!). Passed the Winfield exit on the way to Wichita and thought of you!
Love all the pictures! My dad is an avid bass fisher and had my brother and I fishing with open-face reels when we were like 6 and 7. So needless to say, we love to fish. (I couldn't fish with one now if I was paid too...backlash every time!)
Now, my own little family (lol all 7 of us) like to drive around in our pastures and fish at different ponds like you guys.
