Good Friday?
I have been thinking all day about what today Really means/represents. I was reading this morning in the gospels about today. Good Friday. The day that Jesus was accused, beaten, spat upon, mistreated, spoken to in such a manner that is unacceptable and THEN made to carry his own cross to the place where he would be crucified. I wondered....What is GOOD about any of that?
I'm certain that his followers were devastated...even though he had told them what would come. I don't really know exactly how today came to be Good Friday~but Praise the Lord I know the end of the story. He Is Risen! Hallelujah! that reminds me to be faithful in whatever God says...i can't always see the big picture and sometimes i wonder "well, how in the world is that supposed to happen?" but, God has a mighty, big plan for all us!
