That is how I spent my weekend...and part of last week.
Every year for the last 17 years the Midwest Longhorn Sale is hosted at our sale barn.
One of our customers is actually the host and the sale is held here.
It brings a lot of people to my town and it always promises to be interesting!
I did get a small window of opportunity on Friday evening to run out and snap a few pics.
The babies are my favorite~they are soooooo cute!

My ABSOLUTE favorite. This baby had the neatest markings of any.

How fun, I wish I'd know, not that I can promise I would have been there, but it would have been a great time. Before I die, I'm going to one a longhorn a LIVE one!
I think longhorns are so pretty, too! They have some of the neatest coloring.
They are pretty, and they are very hardy animals, too. Love the pictures!!!
Love them! I want a couple just to look at..my "all about brangus" husband thinks I am nuts. I am nuts but in a good way....:)

We've always wanted to have one big beautiful longhorn in our pasture just to show off. LOL! When we pass through Texas, we always laugh because it seems like everyone has a longhorn up near the house as eye candy.
